I've been scrolling through my iPhone photo library (in an effort to clear space to download WhatsApp and Bitmoji, #priorities), and I've noticed that I take a LOT of house envy photos. My past and current California home bases (San Francisco and Davis, respectively) provide no shortage of gorgeous homes to gawk at - so here's some of my current favorites, in all their glory!
The pink creation from the top of this post (with its perfectly manicured lawn) is from the 1200 block of 45th Street, in Sacramento's Fabulous 40s neighborhood. The cream, black and wood creation above is located on B Street in Davis.
I love a good floral entryway, and San Fransisco doesn't disappoint. I stopped to capture the house above, with it's bright red door and dreamy floral arbor, on a run in the Pac Heights neighborhood. (No workout in the area is complete without a round or three on the Lyon Street steps; the house is nearby.)
The dream garden above (another San Francisco spot) was also photographed on the run - this time on the way back from the stairs connecting Noe and Liberty, located closer to my (old) neck of the woods.
The final California dream home submission for your consideration today: a (potentially?) tiny house situated right off Highway 1 on the Sonoma Coast, taken during a one-day, winery-free weekend escapade last month. It boasts sweeping views of the ocean and rocky cliffs, yet is set far back enough that curious tourists (like me) can't quite figure out what the heck is going on back there. Bonus points for the coastal trees posted up in the front.
