Grant writing, execution & research

  • Responsible for writing and organizing the majority of a successful $1.2 million grant application to the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, which created the "Pathway to A Healthier Michigan: Come Out & Play" program.
  • Program execution and reporting related to Active Living Through Parks, a video series from mParks and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources funded by the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services.
  • Research brief related to the nation's projected primary care physician shortage crisis, created on behalf of the Michigan Health Council with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. 
  • Reviewing, editing, and crafting online education modules, website content, and research whitepapers focused on promoting diversity and continuing education in the nursing industry. Projects completed on behalf of the Michigan Center for Nursing and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as part of a $500,000 grant, which was renewed for an additional year following project completion.
